Course Overview

This Foundation of Ayurveda I Course offers a practical and inspiring introduction to the ancient science of life. Together we’ll explore how the body, mind, and spirit are interconnected, and how to bring them into balance through simple, daily practices. You’ll gain clear understanding and hands-on tools to support your health, vitality, and emotional well-being.

Over six weeks, you’ll discover how to restore balance, vitality, and peace through simple, daily practices. 

Guided by Victoria Hyndman, you’ll learn how to apply Ayurvedic wisdom to your lifestyle, yoga, breath, and self-care routines.

What To Expect

Each live session blends theory, guided practice, and open Q&A. Victoria teaches with clarity, humor, and ease, making ancient wisdom understandable and applicable in modern life.

You’ll have space to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with a community of like-minded students.

You’ll also learn how Ayurveda can help you personalize your yoga, pranayama, meditation, and mantra practice, offering insight into early sign of imbalance and natural ways to rebalance.

6-Week Program- Course Flow

Week 1: The Five Great Elements – 4 March

Discover how the five elements form our body and mind, the foundation for understanding all Ayurvedic principles.

Week 4: Kapha Dosha – 25 March

Discover the grounding and nourishing energy of Kapha, and learn how to prevent heaviness and stagnation.

Week 2: Vata Dosha- 11 March

Recognize when Vata is balanced or disturbed. Learn how your daily habits influence this airy, mobile energy.

Week 5: Sattva, Rajas & Tamas- 1 April

Study the three mental energies shaping our thoughts and emotions. Learn how to cultivate clarity, steadiness, and peace.

Week 3: Pitta Dosha- 18 March

Understand the fiery nature of Pitta. Notice when it supports focus and transformation, and when it creates irritation or burnout.

Week 6: Agni, The Fire of Digestion- 8 April

Understand types of Agni and how to keep digestion strong yet calm through mindful eating, food combinations, and natural remedies.

Who It’s For

This  Course is open to anyone curious about Ayurveda, whether you’re a yoga practitioner, holistic health student, or wish to deepen your understanding of yourself in relation to Ayurveda.

Level I lays the foundation for future Level II & III, which explore deeper layers of Ayurvedic wisdom.

By the end, you’ll possess practical tools and a deeper understanding of how life flows through you, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

About the Teacher

Victoria Hyndman is an experienced Ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher, and marma-therapist whose deep immersion in classical Ayurvedic science spans more than seventeen years of dedicated study with Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute. Guided by his timeless wisdom, she has cultivated an authentic and integrative practice that brings together Ayurvedic diagnostics, yoga asana, pranayama, and marma therapy, supporting women’s health, fertility, and postnatal well-being with grounded compassion and clarity.
